Hi, i have this error crop up every now and then on mine, and then disappear. it only happens when i am on full throttle and on PAS/Throttle setting 2 the way i got round it in end was to test the voltage from the throttle, so the P+ and P- should read 5v or near as and the sensor wire...

I find that with mine, once i am above about 12 mph i have very little resistance but then i commute daily on mine so want to arrive fresh to work so it suits me, you are probably better with a 350W motor and controller

i tore the dropouts on my first build, rear hub luckily as it spun out and split the cable... i had already replaced the hall sensors so i knew the wiring inside, so not a massive job to do

I wouldnt pay that much for a 2nd hand bike, i have built 3 with high power motors 1500W and 30 Ah batteries for less than £500 and sold 2 of them for £700 each

I agree, i have never built or ridden one so i was shocked at how under powered they around my location as its very hilly with steep inclines. Even my 1500W i have to pedal up some of the hills

I defo think i have as i have tried the controller this morning on my 1500W motor and it performs ok and pulls 500 to 600 watts so it the motor and controller combination

I put together a road legal 250 watt MTB conversion kit for someone last week and tested it out, all power tests show that its pulling the right power, but my god its slow.... and up hills, especially around OL13 are a drag stick to my 1500 watt machine and restrict the speed to 20KPH
