    Are E-bikes overpriced?

One has to wonder if the E-bike industry is price fixing. I have not looked into the cost of production but compared to other products. For example: Guess which costs more Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC- 5,000 Piaggio Medley 125cc-3,800

Bosch takes the L on right to repair for ebikes

Bosch is a serious disappointment. First, when the come out with new motors or batteries, they are not reversed engineered. So you cannot use a newer, larger battery on an older model, nor can you install a newer motor on an older frame. Next, even the dealers have no say on repairs or...

Priceless, so simple for small businesses to sort out. Good old BREXIT!

I believe many Brexiteers were not closed minded, but simply believed the lies that the hard core was spewing. And there were some incredible "alternate facts" being told by the highest offices. For most, it was a fairy tale, for a few it was delusional prejudice.

    lost keys haibike

I have not heard of that, plus it would not discourage theft, if someone can just get the key code from the display. When I purchased my Bosch ebike, 2 keys with the code card on a ring came with it. If the shop did not supply this, you may have cause to make them pay for a new lock.

Haibike / Yamaha PW error code 12

From what I understand code 12 means not communicating with the display. Could the sensor or magnet be off?

    lost keys haibike

The keys should have had a card attached. That card has the code for ABUS to make/send a new key.

    China Bashing

Anybody who believes they can exist without Chinese manufacturing is living in a bubble. Almost all tech is produced there and a good part of everyday items are made in China. If you get rid of Chinese made products in your life you will have a very spartan house

    Bosch engine not engaging

I'll throw something out quite simple: Could it be the sensor? I know mine stopped receiving signal out of the blue. It had moved a few mm while riding

    Tingling hands

I suggest you take a look at hand position. It's not so much the pressure, but if your hands are in unnatural positions, it causes tingling or numbness. When your hands are on the bar, the hand must be straight with the wrist to the arm. Be sure to set your brake levers and ergo grips so that...

CUBE Nature Hybrid One 500 Allroad

Just how long should a spoke be.

The nipple should be retracted when installing a new spoke, so no bending involved. If you do not know the length you need , I just measure it so the spoke goes about half way through the nipple when just tight. Too long or too short will give you problems. Try ...

    first time ridding for real

Not knowing the terrain you plan on riding, be careful of over powering on steep uphills. It's easy for the bike to get away from you.

    Rohloff or not to Rohloff.

Have you looked at the Rohloff website for their data? Only because I know mid drive motors put much more stress on the drive train than normal pedalling. Just concerned that such an expensive investment might not last as long with a motor as with chains, cassettes and derailleurs
