Hi,
I'm after a reasonably priced kit to install on this hybrid. Any ideas on what would be best? Would there be anything available for about £500?
I'm after something that would cope with a few hills and could go about 10 to 15 miles.
I think you're right, single wheeled trailers are the way to go. Nope, no kids yet, not that I know of anyway.
I have one of those big metal bike trailers that can take 100kg but I suspect things may go pear shaped if I use that.
These bikes look like just what I'm after. One quick question; would it be practical to pull a trailer given the sirocco uses a crank drive? At what weight would you think pulling a trailer would become uncomfortable (perhaps nigh on impossible)? Obviously depends on the terrain but does anyone...
I'm reasonably fit and have a moderately hilly commute, therefore need something midrange imo, i.e. no more than 40 miles a day. Unless I get really muscular or fat I don't think I'll ever be heavier than 12.5stone.
I don't really want to go above £1.5k all in. The above bike costs ~£500 so was...
Hi,
I'm really keen to get the benefit of electric assistance but I'd really also like to buy a road bike and there's a great deal on the Moser at wiggle at the moment.
Thus, I was thinking maybe it would be better to electrify the road bike above as it has an aluminium frame and stays...
I'm sorry if this is a basic question but how far is this bike likely to go on full throttle with a few hills?
And how much are the replacement batteries?
Also what's the frame size?
Cheers
Another neat thing about this journey is that unless I stop off to go shopping along the way, it's very difficult for the bike to be nicked. The university has bike sheds and when I get home I'll store it in my flat.
Sorry I didn't see your post. I guess the main port of call will be the...
haha genius! I forgot about self service laptop points, or even computer rooms for that matter, or cleaner sockets. I agree though it's probably best to ask before I start plugging in equipment into their electrics.
On average how long does it take to charge a typical bike of this standard...
Thanks.
Portsmouth has to be one of the most higgle de piggledy citys out there. I have found an external charge point on hayling island although it will increase the commute by several miles.

I've also found a slightly gentler but longer route (by a couple of miles)...
I have applied for a postgraduate course part time in Portsmouth. The trouble is I live in Southampton and don't have a car or licence. The train fare is just over £9 return which I find a bit expensive. I'll probably make about two or three trips a week over a two year period.
Is there an...
