    Gazelle Bloom C380 HMS

After about a month and 300 miles I can add the following points. 1. Vendor immediately supplied a UK plug when I informed them. They also supplied the plastic ending-bits of the double stand that were missing. I have found them reliable. No problems. 2. I had my first puncture and after an...

    Woosh Woosh Santana 3 Review

That looks nice too. But I would not have been able to re-use my battery. I also really wanted hub-gears. Too late to go back now.......but I wish you well.

    Woosh Woosh Santana 3 Review

Before the Gazelle I had 2 Meerkat iZips (2009-2014) one cost £375 and the second £350 lasted 4 years together. The 24 volt motor was strong and could get me uphill with a trailer. The Wosh was £800 and could go fast. My C7 was about the price of the three before it combined. All parts are...

    Gazelle Bloom C380 HMS

My C380 has been great. McConvey gave a UK AC-Lead for it and I also was given 2 extensions for the double stand that were originally left off. I fitted spoke-beads so people can hear me when I go slow or push the bike through pedestrian areas. People usually step aside when they hear the...

    Woosh Woosh Santana 3 Review

My woosh santana arrived in May 2014 and looked like the second picture you posted. I think it was £779 when I bought it. I liked the Woosh for its speed. I changed to tyres to Schwalbe Big Apple's soon and had 9 punctures in 5-6 years of use. But I liked the comfort of the big apples. On my...

    Woosh Woosh Santana 3 Review

On my 2014 Woosh Santana I could use special config options in the setup to raise the speed up to max 40km/hr. Not sue if it still possible. Mine lasted 6 years. Mostly enjoyable. But the cheap parts gave me some hassle and not always optimal user-experiences.

    Northern Ireland EAPC status.

Thanks for your perspective. I beg to differ on NI not adding paperwork, though. The changes of aug/sep 2017 formalise the differences. Before those it would have been a case of "pending approval of the inactive Stormont" after the process was formalised the onus is on the owners. I am happy...

Thanks for the information: Just to be clear: It is not my bike, I am not related in any way to that confiscation incident. I am concerned about the incident, I recently revived my old (2014) eBike which was bought in the UK (Woosh in Southampton) and I am concerned about the legalities. In...

Thanks for that. Is the Ballymoney confiscation the first of its type or have similar confiscations happened before?

I came across this posting on the PSNI Ballymoney facebook-page: https://www.facebook.com/PSNI.Ballymoney/?hc_ref=ARQNwryQfJPWlSJb1Ay1aTlPbY8kMCVXFrnP40kgiLnF6bv5YIqe-NTxgvTN4RyDDmQ&fref=nf The comments underneath the article indicate that the fact that NIs Government/Parliament is non-active...

    Woosh Santana CD gearchange quality

The Kalkhoff Sahel with Nuvinvi is not that expensive. I have not tried a nuvinci though. I would prefer to see what the expereinces with those are over time. For now the reliability and low maintenance are very attractive, but the risk of high repair costs and having to find a specialist seem...

Good responses to being called a "cheat"

In five years I have occasionally been called a cheat. Today I replied for the first time. (On a fairly steep ascent 2 cyclists jokingly called me a cheat as I took-over. I replied "Well, I hope I'm not too demoralizing" they were going about 4 mph and I was going about 8 mph. They laughed). I...

    Help, I'm Canadian!

Welcome, http://www.ebikes.ca/shop.html is Grin in ca/Vancouver There are ebike forums that are more geared to the North American market, endless-sphere is well known. There may be others/better ones. For a 10/20 km commute with moderate hills you do not need a high-end bike, but for...

    Woosh Santana CDL

Thanks Trex. You are correct, I do have the tektro novela. They are good, but on eBikes pads just wear faster than on non-electric bikes. The higher speeds and weights probably account for that.

Thanks for your helpful info. Thee rear brakes are fine to me. I will look for brakepads too. Is the type very common? Do you have a link for fitting ones? I just want to order a spare so I will not be without when I need extra brake-pads. Thanks, J.
