Last summer I took delivery of a 14aH battery Basis Beacon for £899 incl delivery from e-bikes direct. I was able to make use of a pretty generous cycle to work scheme. I rode from last July over the winter approximately 12 miles a day over several hills each way. Pedlecs has evolved a lot...

    Parts from the USA

Exchange rates are pretty favourable at the moment... also made it under the wire at the post office:rolleyes:

    Giant Suede E

Using my old original pack after refurbishment at Cell pack solutions. :o Seemed a shame to ditch it when it wasn`t broken-just tired-. Fits perfectly in a waterproof pouch on the rack. Cabled down the carrier bar and into the two pole terminals added to the battery.. (Yes there is space in...

    Fixing an aluminium frame

The hefty steel twin stand eventually fell off my suede e this week taking with it the alloy frame plate. On the up side I`m about a kilo less weight, on the down side I need to find someone in Derbyshire who can weld aluminium! I can`t say I knocked it off, but it has rattled an awful lot...
