    Dual Battery Setup Help/ Ideas

Here is a diagram of the black box, if it is of any help for those who may be interested in considering something similar - I think I will go for a Y splitter for discharge and build an additional charger port for the second battery to charge through.

    Dual Battery Setup Help/ Ideas

Dear All, My small foldable eBike currently has a very simple 36V 18650 10S2P 7Ah battery with an XT60 discharge and a 2 pin JST charge port. Within the bike casing, there is room for 2 batteries and I was considering what would be the best approach in order to install them potentially. As for...

    Making my eBike less illegal

Dear Nealh, I am more than happy and able to machine out the fins in order to fit a BMS BB. I believe I am at a point in which I have invested a significant amount of time into this bike and I feel as though I would like to make it work, if it were possible somehow

    Making my eBike less illegal

Hi, I understand it is a compact bike, from my judgement, I can see (and hope) that the pedals shouldn’t hit the ground, especially when dis/mounting lowered curbs. I am also potentially considering changing the entire rear hub for one which can accept a freewheel more easily.

    Making my eBike less illegal

I thought my picture captured the threads but I was originally under the impression that there were threads already present - can be felt when running my nail across the ridges. I always assumed any freewheel of that diameter would fit but on second thought, I am beginning to see how that may...

    Making my eBike less illegal

Hello All, I currently own a CityBlitz CB020 operating at 36V 250W. It came with static BMX pegs from factory with no chain. I would like to add a set of pedals and a gear/ chain setup to begin to make it slightly more legal and road worthy (can move on to the pedal assist sensors later). As...

    Can I alter the board?

So I'm assuming the solder mount starts from point D going upwards at length 20-30% of distance between B-C or A-D. I shall await your reply.

    Can I alter the board?

Thank you for your reply - Can you please show me where the shunt is and which side to solder on to?

    Can I alter the board?

Dear All, Upon my not-so-recent purchase of a City Blitz CB020 with a 350W motor @36v, I was wondering if I would be able to alter my board in any way to push more power to the motor? I appreciate I will be limiting my battery life and limiting the lifespan of the motor if I am able to...

    Newcomer with plans!

Thank you for your very detailed reply with figures and values. As a man of maths and physics, they are very much appreciated. I’d like to start off with the fact that I know rather little about this topic and please do correct me if I am wrong in what I say further. My original dream project...

Thank you for clarifying - I shall consider getting it on the DVLA register with Q plates if I can achieve a nice breezy speed on it! Gotcha with the law, no open parks either I take it. I shall definitely be making a project post in the speed subforum to discuss these plans further.

My apologies for not realising this was illegal as standard - intended for off road use once speed and power are beyond current limits.

There are no pedals nor chain system, only static BMX style pegs.

I shall most definitely be starting a thread to explore the different avenues for which this bike can be maxed out. Thank you for your reply!

    Newcomer with plans!

Hello All, Having purchased what I believe to be a rare bike in the UK, I would like to upgrade the speed on my CityBlitz CB020 currently operating at 36V 350W. As a car mechanic, I have a fairly good grasp on general electrics and cable running but I have no idea on where to start to gather...
