    New Bike for Conversion

Hi All. Going to pick up this Specialized Expedition Hybrid Bicycle on Monday. I will be converting it with the same kit as I have a BBS02 750w. I have seen one that has been done on uTube . Has anyone else done one?

From home made to Factory Build

Also the bike I fitted the Bafang kit to was 14 year old so once I started using it more I was prepared to start replacing some of the original bike parts. I what I have read from lots of these post are that a lot of people use the low power hub kits which I have little knowledge in but compare...

What sort of range do you get from the whisper bikes? What are they like on a long hill? Thanks

From home made to Factory Build

So far I have done about 700 miles on my converted ebike BBs02. I totally agree. Small problems that you fix or just do.

    Hub Gears

If that is the case I don’t see how changing to a hub drive is any better. A part from the chain line. Thanks for that .

I have a basic C965 which does enough but now I have had it a few months I wish I had gone for a colour one with more information on it. Some will tell you how much power you are using etc.

Weight limits for really hilly commute

I am an older and heavy guy. I have a BBS02 750w motor and a 840w 17.5 amp Battery. It’s perfect for me. It will pull up any hill. Have had a few issues with my old wheels but sorted now. When you get the bike kit it’s programmed to limit the speed to about 15mph. I have changed that up to it’s...

Your right they are quick release. I have ordered a new rear wheel and will see how that goes. How many other people have have broken spokes on there ebike ? I was hoping that it was just because my wheels were old.

Would definitely be strong enough. Yes I think the gap could be good for wedging the magnet in and stick there with chemical metal. Do magnets stick these wheels ?
