    Motor & wheel size?

I've just discovered that a local breakers yard has a number of e bike motors, they all come off bikes that have been damaged in rear-end shunts when being carried on the back of caravans/cars etc (I'm in a popular tourist area). Most are still in the rim and undamaged, these ones are mainly...

    Brake cut-out > 1 wire

Can anyone see a problem with joining the 2 brake cut-out wires ( by the handlebars) then only having a single wire to the controller. I'm having a manic tidying up phase :)

    Backpack battery. What amp wire?

One of my kids wants to use a front hub kit ( inc controller) on a bike and borrow a battery until he (I) can afford it. This is no problem but I'm not certain what amp wire to use from the batt' to the controller, I have a reel of thinwall 30 amp twin or 41amp single. What's best?

    Is it legal?

Is it legal to have an electric bike, (or in this case a sit up & beg trike), that is restricted to 15mph by the gearing? The motor would either be a 500watt or possibly a 1000watt cyclone on 48volts. reason for asking is I'm knocking up a 'shopping' trike and have both motors lying around the...

    Battery. Broken Plastic.

I've just rescued a Phyllion XH 370-10 battery. It's apparently from a bike that was on a rear rack on a Motor home which reversed into a tree. The bike motor etc have long gone but the batt was heading for a skip 'till I saw it. Question. Where can I read up or find info about the wiring &...

    Pro Rider E-Wayfarer

I have good experiences of this company having used their wheelchairs and disability scooter for some years. IZIP Trek Enlightened, Throttle?

On an outing to the Forest of Dean my wife met a girl with an identical IZip Trekking Enlightened except that her bike had an aftermarket throttle. Should the charger just be used to top back up to full power or is it advisable to leave 'plugged in' if the bike isn't going to be used for a couple of weeks. The bike in question is my wife's iZip Trek Enlightened and my reason for asking is I have a disability scooter which advises being...
