    Finally its rideable!

3d printed it, didn't want a rear hub motor as I wouldn't have anywhere to put the speed controller etc.

    Finally its rideable!

The crank on the orange one is a shimano that I stripped and polished myself, the powdercoating on the black one cost £40, and I got it done at Spraytech in Bishops Stortford. The £40 is just for the powdercoating, so I had to give them a ready to go frame that was totally stripped of paint in...

    Finally its rideable!

Finally made the bike rideable, the only thing that isn't brand new is the frame which I stripped bare and had powdercoated. It rides really nice, but have ordered a different chainwheel as I can't get into the biggest gears on the cassette the way it is at the moment. I actually have two of...

    Red LED on speed sensor?

Yeah I don't intend on doing anything to it, I just thought the light came on with the bike, but I must be mistaken.

    Red LED on speed sensor?

Well mine is off until the magnet passes once, then its constantly lit until the motor is powered off. It all works fine though.

    Red LED on speed sensor?

The red led on the speed sensor doesn't come on when I turn the display on, it only comes on when you pedal and then it stays on, it is displaying my speed correctly without any glitching etc. Is it supposed to come on as soon as you turn the bike on? BBS02B Bafang motor. thanks

    Power cable too short

Re attached it but feel like a knob for cutting it in the first place, this hasn't helped y OCD, also lost more length on the cable doing this as the heat shrink was shrinking as I was soldering so had to start again.

    Power cable too short

I was thinking of just wiring the controller straight into the battery with no connector involved at all, wish i had thought of that before cutting it but there ya go, I can't uncut it now. I was just trying to make it neat, but theres a load of other long wires that I can't cut anyway so don't...

    Power cable too short

Hi, Stupidly I cut the power cable coming off the BBS02B, its 6 inches long now, I know I shouldn't of cut it but its done now, so all I can do is try my best to fix it, can I simply re solder it back together and use heat shrink with adhesive lining to make it longer again? I'm good with a...

    Bafang 250w Reprogramming

P.S, the bike isn't finished yet, I still need to base coat and lacquer the frame, its an old GT Aggressor 2, 26" wheels. I had a 250w bafang on it in 2019, took it off, sold it and I'm now doing it again. Totally don't remember anything about what values to use on the penoff program though.

    Bafang 250w Reprogramming

That was ages ago Was ages ago that I had it on the BMX so I don't remember what settings I used at all, or whats best for it. I still have the bmx but it's standard now with no motor. The motor came with the amps already set to 18.

    PSWPOWER

I do have the cable needed, but don't think I have the software anymore. PSWPOWER came good in the end, but they could of communicated better. The motor is mint as expected, still need to paint the bike before I put it on there though so it won't be getting used for a few more weeks still. I...
