I have an Optibike 600T and its been peddled at 32.10mph on the flat and does it really matter what speed we do its not a race and we are not in the TT and I wouldn't bother with 15 mph its not for me.

dont bother building a dream bike find a rich girlfriend and order a Stealth Bomber :D

I had a scott mtb with a rear hub motor and sla batterys on the rear rack it was very heavy I bounced up a few kerbs and the rack snapped and 3 spokes broke and I welded the rack and then avoided kerbs.

I have hydraulic disc brakes and they are the best and you can easily lock the wheels up with to much pressure :)
