    Frustrating 15.5 limit

You're in the 'Speed pedelecs (S-Pedelecs, Non-EAPCs)' section of the forum - go and preach elsewhere. I think your use of the word bragging is a bit strong, but that is why this part of the forum exists so us naughties can discuss our hobby in peace without people like you getting on your...

Lacing a hub motor to rim

That's nonsense. My first wheel I've ever built is still going strong. I've since built about 15 including two wheels with hub motors in them, one front and one rear. All are still going strong. Follow this and you're golden:- https://www.sheldonbrown.com/wheelbuild.html Just take your...

    New build

Battery is held in with the two bosses/M5 bolts used for the cable guides and I have installed three extra steel M5 rivnuts including drilling through the metal plate twice on the mount. For more enthusiastic offroad excursions, I use a few of these to make sure the battery is extra secure...

This brake suitable for BBSO1 overclocked?

I have Magura HS33's on my BBS02 equipped commuter. They are as strong as disc brakes in the dry and dry the rim when riding in wet weather quicker than cable brakes. No issues with rim wear so far.

Batteries - down tube pack and lipos

Hi Kim - sorry for the late reply - the forum doesn't seem to be emailing when I get a reply. Yup - both of the smaller packs will work with the BBSHD. I'd recommend the two 10Ah packs in 44.4v config as the BBSHD draws quite a bit of current. I can do those two packs with the saddle bag for...

    Which bike to to 25-30mph?

I'm glad the Department of Transport don't agree with you http://www.roadsafetygb.org.uk/news/3319.html As for your compulsory insurance argument, that would be a barrier to cycling. Cycling is often the only option for those on low incomes and cannot afford to drive. Also, the amount of...

Batteries - down tube pack and lipos

Another price drop - down tube battery lowered to 250, 140 for the first set of lipos and 70 for the final set. I don't want to go any lower so if they don't go at this price I'll ebay them.

Forum members who perform e-bikes conversions for a fee?

It's a good bit of kit. This is one I have in the back garden - don't have any photos of in the front:- It can fit three adult bikes. I've got one adults bike, 24" kids bike, 20" kids bike, 18" kids bike and three scooters in it atm.
