    Electric folding bike

Woosh Big Bear and Zephyr B aren't pushing my buttons. I have been to Southend to test ride the Big Bear a while ago but as much as I really like Woosh I didn't gel with the bike. If I get some time I'll go test ride the Zephyr B and see if I feel any different.

    Electric folding bike

Still a possibility but I was looking to open up more hilly routes so was looking for a motor with some grunt.

    Electric folding bike

Hi everyone, i need some help please. Am looking to do a 36 mile commute (18 miles each way) once or twice a week (some towpath). Ideally I'd like a folding bike to give me the option to store the bike at work where I'd have to carry it down some stairs. I've done the journey a number of times...

    Cheap Brompton Conversion Kit?

Looks really smart, what a great build. If you find find the rear triangle clip is harder to get to with the box in the way, the clip can always be uninstalled upside down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I won't take my Brompton on the train during rush hour on the Cambridge line. Way too much hassle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Mezzo folding bicycles & eMezzo e-bikes for sale

did you test ride the Brompton with luggage? The Brompton is designed as a porteur right? It gets more stable with front luggage. The luggage is what sold the Brompton for me. I prefer the mezzo idea of not folding the main frame but you do have to bend down more to the front forks which you...

Compact, short range, quality commuter bike?

Forgot to say that one of the reasons I decided to stick with the B is so I can get the occasional lift from family and get the bus as well. Having the option to cycle, tube, Train, bus or taxi I rarely struggle to get home. It also means I'm a fair weather cyclist and don't need to take full...

Compact, short range, quality commuter bike?

I live just north of London and commute in 3 days a week. Any bike is a pain on the train when it's busy. Have decided not to electrify my Brompton as I'd prefer not to have the weight. It will even develop velorexia when I get some spare cash and can afford some ti bling. Will happily ride 20...

TO ALL GORGEOUS MEN AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN

Thanks to those who organised the event. Managed to test ride everything I was interested in. I wish I'd done a lap with my Brompton first to give the experience more context. Bikes that stood out for me were the Ezee Torq, Oxygen MTB (thanks d8veh) and the BBS01 18A/350W kit from Woosh...

TO ALL GORGEOUS MEN AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN

I'm not the only one then. Have had a couple of close calls there. One guy didn't see me on my Brompton and came so close when out of frustration and fear I hit the passenger window hard to get the drivers attention my elbow hit the window first.

    Handlebars

Thinking of other ways around proplem. Will fitting ergonomic grips help? A wider contact area and changing the wrist angle may alleviate symptoms. Also check saddle is not tilted forward too far which would put more weight on hands as you push to stay back on saddle.

    Kalkhoff Sahel Premium i360 Harmony

When I test rode one months ago I remember pedaling at the cadence I wanted then pressing a button on the shifter and then on automatic mode I could maintain that effort regardless of terrain. I thought the technology was a game changer.
