    Wisper 905SE Brakes

A word or caution about the circular travel agents used to give extra pull on the brake levers. Mine failed last night whilst I was going down hill, I managed to stop the bike by dragging my feet and allowing the pedals to hit the back of my calves. It turns out that the cable had worked itself...

    Wisper 905SE Brakes

Well, I've had the brakes serviced again by bikefix Bikefix - the bike shop on your desktop and am pleased to say that they are now working ok. They were fitted with circular springs which increased pull on the cables and I haven't needed to adjust them since so that is great! The power...

    Wisper 905SE Brakes

Hi, those were really old posts...but, I am still having problems with my brakes and speed of the bike. I have also spent almost £200 trying to sort the problem out which includes a number of brake overhauls, fitting a new disc brake, having the bike serviced at a cost of £90 which has made...

    What did I see?

I've just returned from my commute home during which I saw a guy and a girl on what looked like a normal mountain bike, but it had a large disc of a motor on the front wheel (much larger than a wisper motor) the guy was using throttle only and overtaking the commuters on racing bikes with the...

    Crank arm has come off

Does anyone know how to re-fit a left crank arm on a wisper 905 se sport. It came off whilst I was cycling home and although I tried to push it back on, there doesn't appear to be anything to fix it too. Any help would be much appreciated. moon

    Hotsnapz battery warmers?

I was thinking of a jacket made out of the thermal picnic bag type material, you could then pop the snapz inside so the heat is kept in. I think I will try to make one and see :)

E-bikes will not exist in 10 years time

I guess we all love to cycle so they will persist, cycling gets more popular by the day and they've been around for ages. The fun factor is very important!

E-bikes will not exist in 10 years time

I think most people on this forum could ride a scooter if they wanted to, some of us have previously ridden and owned them. However the downsides of scootering are really important. 1. Lack of exercise (Obesity is a big issue. No pun intended) 2. Storage, most scooters have to be left...

    Hotsnapz battery warmers?

Does anyone think these could be used for warming batteries? HotSnapZ Reusable Hand Warmers I was thinking of some kind of jacket with pockets that you could place over the battery and then pop the shotsnapz in the pockets before a journey, What do you think? (Grand master Flecc??)

The cold got to my Pro Connect.

Reading this thread makes me think that batteries should have some kind of heating system installed for winter riding, otherwise electric bikes become fairweather machines. This would drain the battery a bit but it would also be more efficient as a result??

    Wisper Web Site

Warranty Could I have some clarification on the warranty please? When I bought my bike I wasn't given the option to register it in order to validate the warranty. It was bought in May/June, could you tell me if it is in fact under warranty and if the warranty is the same as the website? Thanks
