£450 Kalkhoff Agattu Impulse 2014 *MOTOR REQUIRES REPLACING*

The torque sensor on the bike is no longer working, which means the motor requires replacement. 50 Cycles can replace the motor for £600 with 3 year warrantee.


Bike itself is in good condition with some superficial scratches. Gear hub was recently replaced (£200) and the 36 volt 540wh battery is in perfect condition (worth £595 new) with charger. Comes with 2 keys. Medium frame (50cm).


It was a toss up whether to replace the motor or sell. I decided to sell as was looking to eventually upgrade.

If you replace the motor yourself, it costs about £400 if you use a replacement from the German company. They give a two-year guarantee. The work in replacing the motor is very straight-forward.

So it still works on throttle? I would get it out and look it over. What harm can you do, and it could be nothing

I had 50 Cycles assess the bike and they advised me it requires a new motor. There is nothing I can do to patch it.
