Hi, I don't know if this will help anybody when filing a dropout for a hub motor.
The file has a 10.2mm diameter.
I wonder if it would work better if you cut the handle off (so both ends are roughly evenly weighted), put the file in the dropouts and file both dropouts at the same time. This may or may not result in a more even and accurate file cut.
