I am looking to buy an electric bike. I'm 49, female and looking to do around a 10 mile round journey daily. Medium to high gradient for the last part of the outward journey. I'm looking around 1k in price. Would prefer to pay less of course
Im in central scotland

If there is any stuff I have left out that's because I havent a clue

for medium to high gradient, you need a rear motor with strong torque.
I would suggest the Woosh Santana3.
It offers the usual pedal assistance plus a throttle to help you on steep hills.
