A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a cyclist died following a collision with a van near Monmouth.
Jeremy Paul Bevan, 44, of Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny on Monday but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The arrested man, who was the driver of the van and from the Ledbury area, has been bailed pending further enquiries.

The crash happened at around 1820 GMT on the A40 near the Dixton roundabout.

It involved a white Ford escort van.
