I noticed, whilst tweaking my controller PAS settings, that the software 'Throttle Handle' page has the option to change the 'Mode' between 'Speed' and 'Current'.

I don't actually use a throttle on mine, but am wondering if anyone has actually tested the bike's performance between these two modes. Is one better than the other for providing good throttle control?

Interesting you should say that. I was thinking about that the other day, so I tested the throttle on my KT controller to see if it was current control or speed control, but I couldn't figure out what it is; however, I did find something interesting: If you don't pedal, it behaves like a normal throttle, but as soon as you pedal, it switches to level 5 PAS (current control - basically full power).

If anybody can answer your question, I'd be interested in the answer too.

The speed setting feels like a 4-stage switch, whereas the current setting gives a more progressive throttle action IMHO...I set the start V and A low to be able to use the throttle as a walk assist too.
