Bafang motor to battery issues

Hi,
I’m having issues with the red wire fitting

Fitting where ?
Is the clue the Yellow XT partly obscured ?

I hope those wires are connect to a battery, one should always only work on one bared wire at a time and always make sure the other is protected.

Here’s the setup

1. Remove the battery from the cradle/mount.
2. Carefully slice up the centre of the Black shrink covering the battery side Red & Black wire .
3. Cut the bullet connector off the controller Red wire and bare the end, slide a bit of red heat shrink up the Battery Red wire. Solder the two wires together and then cover by sliding the shrink over the joint and apply heat.
4. Do exactly the same as 2. to the Black wire.
5. Job done.
6. Place the battery back in the cradle and turn on, all ready to work..


Another connector isn't needed as you already have the Yellow XT nearer the battery. In fact as the cradle/mount holds the battery one doesn't even need the Yellow XT, simply cut the XT off the cradle/mount wire and solder those direct to the controller wiring.

It is so simple by the time it has taken me to compose and post this reply, I would have had the job done quicker.
