Code COMPTON50 for extra £50 off
Still £50 off with FB50 code! Apologies for the confusion with the similarly-named Eskuta, who make road-legal scooter-style 250w EAPCs.

The last time I opened my battery to measure cell bank voltages, I noticed some corrosion spots on strips... so for a time, I'm going to imprison my battery in an airtight bag with 500g of rechargeable (by microwave) Silica Gel Dessicant Granules I bought last year.

google for crystal silicate cat litter..
Thanks for the reminder, I'll look out for a good deal on those. The stink of microwaved cat pee doesn't bear thinking about, will be using it to thoroughly dry out my ebike battery instead.

The gravel bike is a hub motor, so rather limited in off road ability. Fine for pot holey shopping.

The MTB is an avoid: it has the old E7000 motor, not the far better EP8, so if used hard as an MTB may fall victim to the E010 torque sensor fault. Again, likely to be fine for road use, but not as a serious MTB.

I have ridden 1000's of miles on all manner of off road on N & S Downs with a rear hub 700c Boardman and the bike has been more then capable. In fact I prefered the drive to the BBS01 I had .
With a hub chooses the correct hub and controller/ voltage system and they are happy as larry off road.

£300 more gets you the EP8 model
Drivetrain is ok, brakes ok, wheels ok, but the suss bits are poor by the standards of today.
Still £2k for an entry level suss is not bad

Fiido seem to get reasonable marks for customer service, and at first sight this seems fairly good for the money.

500Wh battery, and a second battery is only £240, so great range easily possible. Useful step through design, and not ugly.
