Bbs01b ah setting, motor rating.

I've just tried the Speeed app, on the initial motor info page the motor is rated a 20ah. I have on occasion gone up to 17ah but had read here that any higher might not be wise.
So what is the problem with going up to 20ah if that is what is in the motor spec? Just in the grounds of the mansion obvs.

You can legally have any amperage on your motor,as long as it is rated at 250watts continuous,whether it is wise or not is another question.
I have mine on 20 amps and have had no problems over 2000 miles,often see 700 watts on the display.

You've got your units all mixed up. Ah is battery capacity. You can have any battery capacity you want. What is it you want to do?
