Pardon the French, but that sums it up. Nylon gear was fried, changed it very carefully, was like the Hurt Locker putting the Controller back on.

Rode the bike for a short distance and power stopped. Minor niggle I thought. Went to work, tried to ride home, 300 yds, same thing,

Charged Battery, changed position of cradle, so battery sat correctly, the battery drained from full to zero, with no power on overnight.

Any help gladly received, want to get back out on my bike,

Cheers,

G

It could be a leaking MOSFET in the controller. You'd have to put an ammeter or wattmeter on the battery wires to see if current is flowing when the motor is switched off.

I put the battery back on charge, lights come on when plugged in, nothing when unplugged and power level button is pressed. Could this be a fried BMS or dead cell?
