Furthering my task of getting a conversion kit for my Voodoo MTB - and after via a previous thread deciding on the Bafang BBS02 motor, I am now seeking a suitable Display.

When I look at what is being offered by various sellers, I see a variety of models in which I can choose from - for example C961/C965/500C/750C/850C/DPC-18 and probably more...

Any advise/opinions please with regards to which one I should purchase.

Best wishes
Steve.

What features do you want? c9 series basic not colour standard no frills
dpc 18 colour bells and whistles it is the older version
The newer 860c is used on my latest build has hello on the welcome screen not bafang but good features

or smaller 500c horizontal does not stick out to much
stealth sw102 display is hard to read
buy the one you want /need as an option with the kit only adds a few£ ,as an after thought far more and you end up with a spare display,
But check the option you order is in stock and not an extended wait from china

Depends what you want/need from a display. The 961/965 are quite basic, with 5 levels of PAS. I think the rest offer 9 levels. The smarter colour DPC-18 has a usb port for phone charging if that's your thing. There is also the Egggrider which is a very minimal display with various functions which the Bafang displays don't offer. Bafang also do the SW102 which is similar. I'm prob. not the best person to advise as I've been using my BBS without any display for the last 2 years.
