Did anybody see The British at Work yesterday on BBC2? There was a great picture of a futuristic electric bike to ease you up those hills in 1950's Britain -from the Festival of Britain in 1951. I was quite surprised to see it but I suppose cycling was more mainstream in those days and there was more thoughts about developing it.
