...ended up on my arse this morning, bruised shin..broken bell..take it easy on tarmac in the mornings folks.
Get a recumbent trike, if you're lucky you will just spin out on the ice, unlucky you might roll over!
Remember once riding up a slippery slope on my trike , lost traction, slowly slid backwards, and ended going sideways back down.

I have ice spiker tyres on now until probably end of feb early march....feel much safer on them. They are a pain most days when its above freezing becasue of the noise and extra rolling resistance, but id rather put up with that than end up in peices

I have Scwalbe studded ice tyres and don't really notice any rolling difference I still travel at the same speed with or without them.

I have the same tyres...think you might be right....it's probably a negative placebo effect on me...
