Bosch CX Cog Slip Problem – Cube Reaction 400 [VIDEO]

Hello!

I received my bike Thursday and after 30 meters this happened:

The mechanism starts slipping as soon as there is resistance.

Same thing with the engine off:

Is it an easy fix at the LBS or should I return the bike?

No feedback yet from the shop.

Brand new bike! The choice is an easy one just take it back. Unless it's an online purchase...

not user serviceable. The motor needs a new one way clutch bearing.
you have to take it back.

Thanks for the quick replies! I purchased it at bike-discount.de so I guess I'll have to return it. Such a bummer, getting all excited and then it blows up in your face :/

i would take it back and ask for a new bike as they should of checked it b4 you even bought it the lock ring could be loose so the sprocket has come off the motor splines but it will now have damage and need a new motor.
