Hi All, I want to change the front sprocket on my Trek Powerfly to 20T and wondered if all front sprockets are created equal or are there some that are better than others? I have seen some FSA ones which is a brand i recognise, wondered if anyone had any experience good or bad on what is out there. Also the same question for the sprocket tool.

Thanks

Roger

fsa connex or Miranda will all be fine unless you need an off set one or the haibike ones at 90 quid.

I have a Bosch Active Plus bike with a 38T front sprocket, coupled with a Shimano HG500, 11-42, 10-speed.

30 kph equals about ~70 rpm. I can easily get the bike to 30 kph, but would be way more comfortable @ 60 rpm. Keeping 70-75 rpm for a longer period isn't very comfortable.

Should I go for a 44T or a 46T sprocket? Would a 46T sprocket fit? There's a 20% difference between 46T and 38T.

There's barely any hills where I live, so I never go below 7, and most of the time just switch between 9 and 10.
