So I think its an age thing but I keep having scrapes lately....

The latest was surging up a steep bank in the local arboretum and the wheels span out... I fell forward and hit the handlebars. Besides a big bruise on my gut I also noticed the control pad on the left side of the handlebar was loose. When I got home I realised the hinge part of the bracket had smashed into about 4 pieces.

I dont seem to be able to disconnect this from the connector pad in the middle of the handlebars, can anyone help me out?

I am hopeful I dont have to buy the whole ensemble down to the motor :-(

I might just get the Intuvia control and swap the nyon display display, the technology has been quite a dissapointment as well as being more trouble than its worth.

If anyone is thinking of swapping?

The remote is connected to the rear of the mounting bracket of the main unit.

It appears to be held in place by what I am going to nominate as four of the smallest cross head screws in the world.

A fiddly job, but should be doable.

Thanks, I have a 50% chance of chewing the heads (so at least one of the four lol)
