Hi everyone,i have a powabyke euromodel 21 gear and its absolutely perfect except for the motorised section.
The brushed motor is 100%,as is the throttle and sensors &ignition.
The controller appears to be badly damaged.
I changed the mosfets and rectifier etc but to no avail.
I think its time to bite the bullet and replace the controller, etc.
Would anyone know, where i could get a kit, inclusive of , controller, pas and throttle, but preferrably not from china.
Uk or the rest of Europe would be great.
I would like to be able to use the bike soon, but with the problems in the far east, god knows when i would get a delivery.
Thanks to anyone who could steer me in the right direction,
Cheers,,,gerry

Hi,vfr400, thank you very much for the quick reply.
Its absolutely not the case that i am racist, its just the time element.
By the time the package arrives, there might not be much of the summer left.
Thanks again for the reply,
Brilliant web site

The only pas /throttle brushed controller I have come across was on AliExpress, they are rare and I don't think you will get a UK/EU sourced item.

You have to jump on Aliexpress and search through all the brushed motor controllers until you find one with a PAS connector.

This one does and it'll work, but I think your present controller is 20 amps, so you're going to lose a bit of power. You should be looking at the 350w or 500w ones to get 20 amps.

You'll have to buy a new throttle too because your throttle works backwards from a normal one.

Just a little update,,,,Ok lads,as advised by vfr400 and nealh,I went on Ali express and got a brushed controller and throttle with built in ignition and digital battery gauge.
Purchased from outdoor freelife store.
Everything work a treat with just a couple of drawbacks,1,no instructions and all writing in Chinese
2 ,with the ignition built into the throttle, the brake lever and gear selector has to be moved left.
All in all,no big issues.
Thanks again to all the lads on here for their help, big thumbs up,ps,if anyone needs help with the wiring, just send a message

Did the PAS work ok as not many Brushed ones have that option.

Hi nealh,it didn't have a pas option.
But,I turn on the ignition, pedal as normal, when I meet a steep incline,I rotate the throttle and keep pedaling.
It give the idea that you're still on the flat level ground.
I couldn't go back to hard work cycling again

Did you order exactly the one in the link i gave you, which clearly shows the pedal assist sensor and its connector?

A bit strange as you wanted a PAS version yet didn't end up buying it.
I just rechecked and the Yalu with PAS is available.
