Still a bit of lengthening and tidying up of wiring to do, fit the torque arms, and seal the motor cable entry, strange that it points up the way to catch the water.

Done about 250 miles so far, and I think it`s amazing, wish I`d done it ages ago. Cheers for all the tips and advice ect. Can`t wait to get away in the camper, not sure if I`m going to charge it off of the battery via the inverter or get a dedicated 12v to 36v charger, probably go the inverter route, cheaper.

Rotate the axle by 180 degrees so that the cable entry points downwards.
Ah, that was the way I first fitted it, but it was quite a bend getting it back up again, and it looked a bit vulnerable sticking out, I`ll google some photos of what others have done, cheers.

WIth cable entry at the bottom it then can form a drip loop, to some it might not look pretty or neat but later on you will be happy when you don't have to repair or replace your hub because water has managed to track in via the cable from above. Although not really necessary if you have a rubber/plastic nut cover pack with white water proof grease for belt and braces job.

Cheers, I have the plastic nut cover too, I`ll probably fill it with this http://hamradiostore.co.uk/c-seal-waterproof-sealant.html
you can remove it and reuse it again, amazing stuff, I use it on my radio ham antenna plugs to seal them, never lets in water, 40 feet up and in all weathers, and as belt n braces, I tape with self amalgamating tape too.

Cable tie it to the bottom of the shock. You should always have a couple of cable ties in your kit.

The Cyclezee Torque Arms arrive today, I didn`t realise they were so thick, I only have about 1+ mm showing beyond the wheel nut, looks like I`m safer binning them and just using the nuts.

That must be a short axle, here's mine with it's hand made bracket:

I was strongly advised to use it because of the aluminium forks.
Maybe there's something here:

Although they all look quite thick.
Would it be possible to source a thinner nut?

Looks like the Panda ones are the same, I`ll have a read through them, the other end of the axle sticks thru further, see here,,

That's the side with the cables isn't it? Unless the motor plugs will go through the opening in the torque bracket, I don't think that's going to work for you.
The torque brackets that Woosh use on their Big Bear are much thinner (approx 2mm steel) they are the type that have a clip around the fork leg. Drop them an email, maybe they can help.

Yup, thats the cable side, fitting the torque bracket to that side might be an option, I will give it a measure.

Plenty room to get the plug thru, so just need to source some kinda clamp for the fork fixing, other option was to get the cyclezee one machined a bit thinner,
