Hi I'm new to the forum and I have been searching the Web for the last few weeks trying to solve an issue I'm having with my one year old carrerra vengeance e. The handle bar controller (a bafang 790 I belive) got damaged and had water ingress I have purchased a replacement from halfords after a lot of faffing about with wrong parts being ordered and just a general lack of knowlage regarding electric bikes. I have now fitted the new unit (simple universal connector) but now all it does its flash at low battery 10 times and then continues to flash the whole unit. Any ideas would be really appreciated, thanks

Is your battery fully charged? if so, sounds like you may have damage to the controller, possibly caused by the water ingress you mention. Check your battery connections are clean and tight and the display connector. Do you have a multi meter?
