Cheap FreeGo Eagle & bike servicing by Dorset charity, Hope2Cycle

I know that the Classifieds section is for private sales by members, but I have come across a registered charity (number 1129439) called Hope2Cycle which promotes health and wellbeing in the Dorset area.

The charity deals predominantly with non-electric bikes and has shops and workshops (in Bournemouth, Sherborne and Shaftesbury) for servicing and repairs.

This information may be of interest to local members who need somebody to carry out general servicing/repairs to their bikes.

Also, for somebody who wants a relatively cheap introduction to electric biking there is a FreeGo Eagle (I should know because I own one) on Gumtree for £135 including the old battery.

Jimmy at Insat International could re-cell this for about £285.

So for a total outlay of £420 the novice pedelecer would have a decent electric bike with a brand new battery. Not a bad deal in my opinion.
