Not on roads and technically not in any place that the public has access to Samantha.

It is strictly against UK law for anyone under 14 years to ride a pedelec, that specified in the Road Traffic Act 1988. The liability is yours as the parent.

Typical British excess, it's entirely legal at any age in our neighbouring European countries.

We know flecc has many talents now we can add reader of invisible writing to the list as I can't read the ops post :rolleyes:.

Samantha explained that she wished her ten year old could e-bike with her on longer rides since she has a knee weakness, but having seen somewhere it wasn't legal asked if anyone did have their under 14s riding an e-bike.

It appears she deleted her post later but of course cannot delete the thread.
