My favourite was one on the now renamed Gizmag

The hack on that one claimed the factory was about to produce 18,650 units. Er, no that's 18650 cells.

And they never did if course

the cell works with pumped CO2 at 1.5 bar.
The challenge is to make the containing vessel light enough to make a practical cell.

And there was me thinking we could just plant our 18650 cells like trees to absorb C02 then realised 18650's don't have leaves :(.

Climate change won't be solved by technology.

It will be solved by grumpy old women and men on e-bikes! We are part of the solution

I think it's going to be solved by a disaster, like Yellowstone Park erupting, an asteroid strike, bird flu or ebola mutation.

Or war. Massive, global war. Frighteningly plausible these days with the various mugs, eejits, psychopaths and despots currently with fingers on buttons
