At last, and after being stung for duty+VAT (not unexpected) it's here. First impressions are good; the various bits and pieces seem reasonably well made and finished, but the proof of the pudding will be in the cycling.
One thing I notice; the motor spindle is not exactly easy to turn and I can see this being a bit of a drag factor when unpowered - I'll have to make sure I never run out of battery power more than a mile or two away from home, on a return leg.

Geared or non-geared motor?

Geared or non-geared motor?
Non-geared rear fit.
Another thing I notice (as has been commented on in ES) is the gauge of the main feed wires to the hub - a bit skinny, in my view, but there's not much room to squeeze anything beefier in through the 'ole.

Ah ok yes the direct drive motors don't freewheel that well, there's a fair old resistance when not powered.
