I am messing about with a YK31C brushed controller and the question is can I fit a PAS sensor paralled with twist grip? or will it be to harsh in operation?
There is no connection on controller for PAS that I can see.

No. Different type of signal from PAS. A Cycle Analyst can do the conversion, but a new controller would be a lot cheaper. Or you could do it with a microprocessor for a few quid.

This is a big problem I have with my bike, it has 3 converter boxes to get the signal from Hall voltages to what ever the brushed controller needs. The entire system has a mind of its own, often have to pull the brake to slow it down or throttle to give me power. When I get time its going the journey

Thanks for the reply, any 36 volt brushed controller with PAS come to mind?
d8veh am I correct the signal needs to be between 0 - 4 volt into the input from the twist grip.
