I am told by avd that the windcheetah is not easy to convert. but i take that to mean it's not impossible. so has anyone done this or have ideas for doing it? I like the idea of a hub motor (less cluttered). and I'm not after speed, though that would be nice, but assistance on inclines and long distances. and I intend to ride in france and italy next spring so i would need to meet their regulations. thank

What worries me about a hub motor conversion on that trike is the one side only frame. I think the best/easiest conversion would be a "mid" motor. My dream pedelec is a HPvelotechnik Gekko and the "250"W Bafang would be my choice n° 1.

I agree with anotherkiwi about the BBS01, close to no extra strain on the frame.
However I don't agree about the dream trike, I already ride my dream trike a GLR with a BBS01 :)
