Been offered either of the above courtesy of a generous donor, last year's models, unknown level but hydraulic brakes guaranteed, to put together a BBS01 build.

Reason for build is I'm recovering from a double fracture in my foot, sustained a couple of months ago whilst cycling, but still need to commute 6 odd miles as I build strength back up in my leg. Will probably still use in poor weather over my Croix de Fer.

Would have preferred a Sirrus, as it's more roadie, but beggars and choosers...

Either of them demonstrate any obvious issues to your experiences eyes? Or any particular benefits?

Thanks.

Both bikes are straightforward diamond frame flat bar hybrids, so both should be an equally good blank canvas for conversion.

The Bad Boy almost certainly has a rigid fork, which I would much prefer over the cheapo suspension fork on the Spesh.
