With out looking at the specs I'm assuming 400 is the approx. battery WH which would equate to a 11ah battery @ 36v.
N.B.
Just checked the specs and is as I quoted above. Equation is simple Wh / V = Ah or Ah x V = Wh.

11ah should be good for approx 40 miles of mixed road /light trail riding.

I understood that the rule of thumb was 11 x 3 giving 33 mile range,
weighing almost 100 kilos, I'm unlikely to get that.
....Is this no longer the case ?
....cheers.....Mike

Rule of thumb never used it for batteries as riding style/effort, weight and assist levels are unique to each rider, just my penneth worth of the range I get from my Oxydrive on a Boardman cx with my 13ah battery I have managed 60 miles and 48 miles form the 11ah. Btw I fluctuate from 82 -90 kg.

Nice one, I have a 17ah battery on my Tasman 8 and I struggle to get
45 miles on a charge....always on full power though.
...so 60 miles on a 13 ah battery is good going.
.......cheers....Mike

It's only possible to give an approximate range due to so many variables.

Using tour setting on my 400 wh Bosch bikes I can get about 40 miles.

The larger 500wh would give me about 50 miles.

But throw in lots of hills, turbo setting, and a need for speed, and that range could be halved.

I've met Mike, and I reckon he would be content to bowl along on a Bosch bike on tour setting, giving the aforementioned range of about 40 miles from 400wh.

Cheers Rob...I trust you're well and enjoying your biking.
..........I think you're right, I'd be quite happy with a 40 mile range or even a tad less.
There's a dealer in Bradford, some 25 miles from me, I'm gonna' try get over to look at a cube.
....cheers....Mike
