I used one at work today. I really wanted to like it, but I'm sorry to say I really didn't.

It's not really suitable for the role it'd be used for. Far too big and expensive. It's what happens when you ask for a cargo bike and the upper echelons get involved without consulting the people who are going to use it.

What really didn't help was the handlebar mount hex bolts being loose - on a £12K machine!

The suspension seatpost was a crappy £10 job and was awful. The steering was heavy and it just felt very unstable. The parking brakes weren't set up properly and it felt like an unfinished article.

I'm still pushing for an electric cargo bike/trike solution, but not this one.

You should check out the Vok Bike - they are way more comfortable to ride as the seat and suspension are solid and the steering is easy to handle. The cargo box is smaller than the EAV's but this also makes the bike more nimble. https://vokbikes.com/
