I've got an intermittent fault, which has slowly got worse. LED flashes 6 then 2. Often fixes itself after 10 minutes then stops again a few minutes later.
I've got two other Ezee bikes with interchangeable batteries so I know the battery is fine.
I've checked the wiring can't see any problems. I opened the controller, all looks nice and dry. I finally opened the motor, hoping to find an obvious loose wire, but nothing obvious. See photo. Any ideas? 33553

Hi Bob,
I have an Ezee conversion on my bike, it's the one with led handlebar unit. The manual tells me that the controller led flashing 6 times is low voltage. Flashing twice is 'Brake lever in contact'.
First check that battery is at 41.5-42v fully charged.
I would check connectors between battery and controller for sloppiness or corrosion/burning, which would give a resistive connection.
Also try unplugging the brake switches, it should run OK without them, then plug in one at a time to see which one produces the fault.

Hi Benjahmin,
thanks for the ideas. I'll have a look when I next get a chance.
Bob.
