Flashing on high for panasonic

Does anyone know what it means on the LCD display if the mode is flashing? Had bike on high mode going up quit a step hill and it flashed later on high it was constant

Sounds like inadequate current delivery on continuous high power mode under load had dropped the voltage enough to make it appear the battery was almost empty, and this can trigger a cutout. A full recharge should leave everything ok again, so see how it performs after that.

Also do a capacity check after that recharging. To do that, hold in the level check button for at least ten seconds and the number of LEDs indicates the capacity of the cells. If it's less that the full five LEDs, post back for further advice.

The only time that I have had the mode lights flashing is when I have turned the power on whilst already peddling. It confused the sensor and throws it into error. Switching the power off and on again clears the fault. Hope this helps.

Good point Tillson, that has always been the case on all Panasonic units, old and new models.

Everything was working fine just that the mode flashed. If it happens again I will see if on and off stops it happening. Just thought it might be some kind of message to drop down a gear or something.
