I am having one which displays "More money than sense". Only $900 a wheel.

I hadn't noticed the price. I might be wrong, but it seems inconceivable that anyone could view this as a product which will make money and then put it into production. Who would spend such an amount on these lights?

Until they come down in price, I'll wedge plastic Smarty tube lids in my bicycle spokes if ever I feel the urge to decorate my wheels.

I met the guy behind these at the Birmingham show in 2012. Bought one of his more 'affordable' models for the rear wheel of my Agattu. Must admit it was very nice, reliable, very well made and eye-catching. Apart from the fact that it didn't survive my hand slipping when using a chain cleaner machine which somehow managed to sever the wiring clean off. If that had happened with an $895 model there would have been tears at teatime !

Price is absolutely bonkers for private purposes. For commercial advertising applications, however, the concept could make sense.

I'd have to sell the bike to afford the light.
