Membership lapsed when J, my partner, became unable to cycle. However, with her prompting, I dusted the cobwebs off my ebikes (a stately classic Juicy Bike and a foldable Gallego by Woosh). A little fettling and they leapt into life. The batteries seem to have survived - I kept them topped up - and the Gallego now lives in the car and the Juicy is back on stand-by for runs to the paper shop (and the off licence). Don't you just love a wicker handlebar basket?
