Has anyone experience of long term reliability of quick connectors?

The reason I ask is I have a Sparticle Brompton conversion, which relies on having to disconnect and re-connect the Motor, throttle and display each time the bike is folded etc.,
Also is repair or replacement of these connectors (if needed) expensive?
Thanks for any help/ advice.

Gosh, I've never heard of needing to do all that on every fold before.

I worry you have a very niche issue ! However most wiring is replaceable one way or another

Some photos might help members know what you have exactly in terms of your "quick connectors"

Hopefully these will help
Here is the main view with the connectors ringed in yellow, they are standard type ones I believe

And this is how the bike folds, you unclip the conectors and put a tubular cover on the motor lead as the pins are exposed (it's a Hall effect motor so lots of pins)
The large bag contains the Battery and controller and wiring and is separate.
And the bike folded looks like this.

It is of course one of the smallest of the folders .

Yes they should last a long while, the fragile one being the motor plug, I bent mine once and it isn't even a folding bike  So be careful and always use your plug protector.

I would really like to find a source for these standard plugs with pigtails so I can roll my own cabling (or be able to repair)
