Im knew to this forum, and I hope youll excuse me jumping straight in for some advice, but Ive scoured the internet without much luck.
Several years ago I bought a Furo Aventa, knowing full well the company had gone bust and I had no come back should anything go wrong. Well I love the bike and its served me well until recently. It developed a fault where it would intermitently power on. It would sometimes power on right away, other times it would take a prolonged press of the power button, and sometimes it wouldnt power on at all. Unfortunately this got gradually worse until it would no longer power on at all.
I initially thought it was the display, so ordered a replacement hoping it would be a quick fix. Sadly not, and the new display throws up an error code (communication with controller).
The Aventa is fitted with a Nokee King Meter as standard (which i dont seem to be able to source a direct replacement for), and after stripping it down ive found its fitted with a Lushui LSW860-63-21F X21060035136 controller which is inbuilt into the top of the frame above where the battery sits.
Could you guys possibly advise what might be at fault here, and if there is somewhere I can source direct replacement parts, or failing that a new controller or display (or both), that will work and be compatible please?
Im a novice in the world of e-bike tech and cannot work out whether its simple a case of the new display being incompatible, or whether the controller is at fault?
