Hi guys,

I have a DC MOTO CONTROLLER BY LITHIUM BATTERY.

it has a 6 pin LCD wire and I want to try to get a 5 pin working if possible SW900 is compatible with a lot of controllers with some tweaking on the wires now and again.

on this 6 pin layout is as follows :-

RED WIRE - DMS?? ( Never seen this)
GREEN WIRE - DMS?? (Never seen this)
YELLOW WIRE - SEE PHOTO FOR ICON
WHITE WIRE - 1:1 speed BOOSTER
BROWN WIRE - CONNECTED INTO VDD
BLACK - GND

This controller has Rx & Tx solder pads for data lines which is interesting.

do you know which LCD goes with this controller ?

If all fails I'll just buy one but I want to have a crack at this as I mod a lot of controllers and I haven't seen this one before.

any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

That controller doesn't look like it'll connect to nor work with any LCD. Do you have a throttle connected? The pads on the edge of the pcb are for a programming header. Check the voltage on the red one when it's connected to the battery.

There isn't actually a throttle line so does this run through the 6 pin connector ?

There is what seems a PAS, signal wire of this connects to a PAD called "SO"

Red wire on 6 pin to ground with 48v battery connected comes back with nothing.

Volatge isn't running back upto the connector.
Any ideas ?

Red, white and black are normally the throttle wires, green is normally battery voltage for the battery indicator LEDs, and yellow and brown are for the switch. Before connecting anything, you should confirm which wire has the battery voltage on it and that the red has 5v. There can be some different configurations of the brown, green and yellow wires, depending on what they want the switch to do. Often green and yellow are paired up so that the LEDs come on when you switch on.

Those controllers are pretty hopeless for pedal assist, so if that's what you want, you should chuck it.
