Fed up with the persistant rain and lack of sun, yesterday i went on what was for me a mega ride.

Great afternoon,lots of sun,i saw the Red Arrows at St Annes and again leaving Blackpool later. In between i was in the middle of 250 members of the Blackpool Lambretta scooter club riding from St Annes down Blackpool Promenade, everybody must have thought why couldn't i afford a scooter,little did they know my bikes was worth more than most of theirs !!!!

I did a fair bit of the ride on by own steam,the handle bar indicator turned to slow flash half a mile from home. I can't wait for the next sunny day,by which time hopefully my legs will have recovered

You'd be surprised what a genuine Lambretta costs these days.

yes you are right....i am.....i wouldn't have put a lot of them anywhere near that. The surprising thing was that they couldn't see me behind ready to overtake with all those mirrors as i weaved between them.
