Looking into buying another EPAC,2 brands are in the frame KTM Macina cross 8, or the Kalhoff Tasman, would prefer a Hub gear over Derailleurs for ease of use around town, whats the opinions on these two , they must be large frames.

I will be going to Netherlands in September , thinking of having a look at dutch bikes whilst out there, maybe coming back with a 'Gazelle' or 'Sparta', downside is anything go's wrong ,,,,,

Both great bikes. The Tasman Classic will have nearly twice the range and a bit more power than the Macina Cross. The Tasman is a really classic looking bike that drew many admiring looks at the Bristol bike show a few weeks ago. Lovely colour and comfortable Brooks saddle. Macina is a more modern looking bikes with straight bars rather than the slightly swept back bars on the Kalkhoffs. Both bikes have the same or similar components, (identical brakes and gears). Tasman has rigid forks. If you want suspension forks on the Kalkhoff you need to go for the Pro Connect Impulse Alfine 8G (which as the premium Alfine 8 hub rather than the Nexus 8).
