Started a thread a couple of weeks ago about my motor cutting out every 3 or 4 seconds. But cannot find it, may be I didn't post it correctly.
But I think I've solved the issue (hopefully) ... The removable motor side casing on the inside has a centre 2 mm thicker bearing boss with "fingers" extending Halfway toward the outer edge.
Bearley visible. I spotted (In Bright Light) a slight glimmer and shinny glint Of Copper wire. As the motor spun, these fingers where very slightly touching one of the hall sensor wires, Which had worn the insulation and started to short out.
Checked the internal Shims to remove any movement of the coils & rotor. Added a 0.2mm shim & made sure nothing was catching as it spun.
I'm Hoping that's it , Runs Ok on the stand.
